Part of the Zanzibar Archipelago, Pemba is a volcanic island
situated 30 km north of Zanzibar and 35 km
from Shimoni on the Kenyan mainland

Pemba Island has miles of uncharted reefs and channels. We
have explored and charted numerous spectacular dive sites,
a few of which are listed here. Manta Point, Mesali Island
(a protected marine park) wreck of SS Paraportiani, Fundu
Gap, Mtangani, Mchengazi, Ras Miungani

Napoleon wrasse, groupers, trigger fish, tuna, barracuda,
hammerheads, reef sharks, giant trevally,
bottlenose and spinner dolphins, Southern Right, Minky and
Humpback Whales, manta and eagle rays, gorgonian fans, enormous
table corals

Diving
Our night diving is our speciality and it is absolutely superb.
Spanish dancers, giant nudibraches, pleourbranches, basket
starts, brittle stars, frog fish, squid, mantis shrimp, turtles,
puffer fish. Octopus,
ribbon tailed eels, cuttlefish and phosphorescence is almost
guaranteed.
Adventure
Diving
Pemba's east coast is the great undiscovered gem of the Indian
Ocean.
Inpredictable conditions and lack of anchorages make it hard
to access on a regular bases, but
Kisiwani is the only boat in the area that is properly equipped
to overcome these obstacles, and
concerted efforts are now being made to establish the east
coast as a consistently reliable destination.
Exploratory trips are also planned for Mafia Island the Southern
Tanzania. Please contact us and
